What we collect

We only hold information you choose to give us. That is normally your name, address, phone number and email, plus whatever you tell us about your home or workplace so we can quote accurately.

If you apply for a job through this site, we also receive the details you enter on the application form: the area you are based in, your availability, your experience, whether you have transportation and whether you are eligible to work in the US.

What this website collects on its own

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. We do not build a profile of you and there is nothing to opt out of.

Two third parties do see your IP address when your browser loads parts of the page, because that is how the web works: Google Fonts serves the typefaces, and Unsplash serves some of the photography. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare an estimate
• To schedule and carry out cleaning visits
• To invoice you and keep accurate business records
• To consider your application if you are applying for a job
• To send the email newsletter, if you asked for it

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Your details are shared with the cleaners assigned to your visit, because they need to know where they are going and what the job involves. Beyond that we share information only with the service providers who run our business — for example payment processing and accounting — and only where it is necessary, or where the law requires it.

Photographs

We sometimes photograph our work. We do not publish a photograph taken inside your home or business without asking you first, and you can decline or withdraw permission at any time by contacting us.

How long we keep it

Client records are kept for as long as you are a customer and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Job applications are kept for up to twelve months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email. Contact us and we will action it — there is no form to fill in.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we start collecting or sharing information differently — adding analytics or an online booking system, for example — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
